Day-to-day you should focus on your inputs.

What are you actively doing?

That’s what you have the most control.

Especially on a daily basis.

Yes, you can influence outcomes. And over a longer time horizon, there’s more possibility and magnitude for influence.

But the outcome can’t happen at all without the input.

Example:

I can publish once every day. That’s in my control.

I can't control how well any content does. I can influence it, but I can’t control it.

And with enough consistent good input, good outcomes become more likely.
