Acknowledge reality

Nothing drives me crazier than ignoring reality.

I understand big audacious goals, shooting for the stars, all that jazz.

But there are also certain laws of the universe.

Ignore them at your peril.

Yes, that one company over there was able to achieve the “impossible” and “won the market”.

Guess what? 999 other companies failed doing exactly the same things.

So maybe copying them isn’t the right call.

What worked for their reality won’t work for your reality because yours is different.

The company is different.

The market is different.

The timing is different.

Your product is different.

Your people are different.

Acknowledge reality. The things right in front of you.

Now do your best with that.

That’s how you make the change you’re hoping for.
